Search SAMCC's holdings via our online catalog.
SAMCC's government collections date from 1849 and provide the researcher with the most complete set of local public records of any archives in the state.
SAMCC's private collections are extensive and document a wide variety of themes in Sacramento history.
The Sacramento Archives and Museum Collection Center's photograph and negative collections consist of over five million images, the majority of which are black and white.
One of SAMCC's largest private collections is the KCRA Film Collection.
To document daily life in Sacramento, SAMCC stores a variety of household items, furniture, toys, tools, quilts, and costumes.
