The Crocker Art Museum, the West's first art museum, was established in 1885. The collection now includes early California art, European drawings, contemporary Northern California art and more recently, Asian painting and international ceramics. The Museum is a public-private partnership between the City and the Crocker Art Museum Association (CAMA).
